Diana Allison grew up in the small, rural town
of Mendon, Massachusetts. She shared her mother's love for horses,
and experimented in various disciplines of riding with her "backyard
pony", a Morgan/Standardbred mare called Mary. She and her
horse explored, Hunter Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Jumping, Dressage and
some casual trail riding in between. . . . She competed in riding
through High School and then temporarily left it behind as she entered
art school at Rhode Island School of Design.

With her parents support and guidance,
Diana graduated from RISD in 1996, earning her BFA in
Photography. While attending RISD Diana spent her summers in the Black Hills
of South Dakota working as a trail guide, leading horseback
rides at Blue Bell Lodge in Custer State Park. She fell in
in love with the Hills and met her husband.

Diana now resides in Buffalo Gap,
raising two rambunctious boys . . .
She established her business in 2001 to devote her artistic
talents into her love for horses and all animals. She has
trained herself into the digital age of photography, has become
very efficient and knowledgeable with Adobe Photoshop, and
enjoys drawing and painting the beautiful subjects that she photographs. |
